To the ice bar we went!
Everyone's getting back to the normal routine after the festive season now! Had lunch with yvette and Jem in the heat of holland village. But i don't think it can be as bad as Melbourne's hot hot hot weather. We're heading to Uncle Leong's for CRABBB later! hehe... can hardly wait.
These were us before heading into ice bar on russell st!
The trip to ice bar was super fun! It literally is a walk in freezer. =)I was DUMB enough to have worn shorts and leggings. DUH. I wasn't really expecting it to be so cold. They sure take care of you before you head in tho. They'd kit you up in a jacket, ugg boots and gloves.
You only get 30 mins to be in there. Sounds short? But it seriously was enough. Cos we spent most of the time telling each other how cold it was. lol. As you can see, jono really liked the lce sculptures. haha.
End of jan was time for the usual youth leaders retreat! It should have been renamed nintendo getaway. haha... We had the Wii going on a projector screen, while super mario was on the telly. We're all pro at the Wii now!
We had a good time coming up with kung fu master names for each of us. =)
Quent had some pretty fun discussion topics to say the least. And we had a really good time singing old school songs on the way back on the van. We tortured the guys with backstreet boys, britney, spice girls and the like. haha...
Early feb was chaotic as everyone rushed to make sure the sanctuary was ready for launch. Look at toothpick limbs at work! hahaha....
