Haven't really ate that much since arriving yet. But yesterday I had assam laksa, then this morning for brekkie we went out for herbal duck leg noodles. yum yum. hee. They're all photos of tim... haha.. cos there's no one else to take pictures of. lol. its so asian to take photos of food! but you guys love to look don't you? lol




Tim's sister jessica is a sweetie! She's sharing her pretty room with me. And she has the most gorgeous hair! *jealous*

  To the ice bar we went! Everyone's getting back to the normal routine after the festive season now! Had lunch with yvette and Jem in the heat of holland village. But i don't think it can be as bad as Melbourne's hot hot hot weather. We're heading to Uncle Leong's for CRABBB later! hehe... can hardly wait.

The trip to ice bar was super fun! It literally is a walk in freezer. =)I was DUMB enough to have worn shorts and leggings. DUH. I wasn't really expecting it to be so cold. They sure take care of you before you head in tho. They'd kit you up in a jacket, ugg boots and gloves.

You only get 30 mins to be in there. Sounds short? But it seriously was enough. Cos we spent most of the time telling each other how cold it was. lol. As you can see, jono really liked the lce sculptures. haha.




End of jan was time for the usual youth leaders retreat! It should have been renamed nintendo getaway. haha... We had the Wii going on a projector screen, while super mario was on the telly. We're all pro at the Wii now!

We had a good time coming up with kung fu master names for each of us. =)

Quent had some pretty fun discussion topics to say the least. And we had a really good time singing old school songs on the way back on the van. We tortured the guys with backstreet boys, britney, spice girls and the like. haha...




Early feb was chaotic as everyone rushed to make sure the sanctuary was ready for launch. Look at toothpick limbs at work! hahaha....

  Pictors! As most of you would know, I took about a million pictures over the last summer. So, I'll just post them over a few posts. I'm starting with January!



I think tim serene and jon would remember these photos very well. haha. Tim was teaching me how to drive his manual civic. AND.... I failed miserably. I probably started the car about 4 times and only managed to make a 10 metre distance... all with the "skill" of bunny hopping. hehe.... Well, at least everyone who was in the car has a good time laughing at the expense of me! Serene was way better than I. lol.



All i remember of this day at melbourne uni filming the kung fu series was...... IT WAS SO HOT. Look how pro our cameras are now! I can't wait to watch the final product.



TIMBA's 22nd! Hey timba, its time for you to embrace that fact that you're not 21 anymore! Welcome to the 22 club. Had a surprise birthday party at my place which accomodated a ridiculous amount of people. Probably won't forget that when i asked the guys to go out to buy more food, they came back with a carton of beer instead. =I




Influencers conference in Adelaide was pretty awesome. it was interesting to travel with the pastoral team and to see them as everyday people. But they spend almost every moment talking about the church and how to improve it.. la la la.... then argue about theological points... haha. I would just sit there and occupy myself with my own thoughts.

So the first few photos were of us at the conference itself. Then one arvo, I went out with adora aviel and aziel to the mall. Cold rock was so YUMMY! They should have more outlets in Melbourne. In fact, they should have one here! The last 2 pics were of us at hahndorf - little Germany of Adelaide.

  I need techkie help! arrggg...

I can't connect to the internet using my laptop! and I don't know what to do. Ok.... here's my problem.

I'm trying to connect to the wireless connection here at home. And usually you just click on your 'network connections' and then click on wireless lists to find what networks are available to connect to right? My laptop doesnt even show the "wireless" option on the network connections tab! wahhhh.... so I can't even search for networks. Does it make sense to you? My wireless switch doesn't even light up when its on.

Ahh... I don't know. It sucks, cos I have to use my mum's mac now, and I have never really used one. I feel so uncomfortable. hehe...

Anyway, today was the first day of the new year. Did the usual family visiting, superficial talk and such. I ate so much. Its the only thing to do really. Bahh.... What did you guys get up to?  ¶ 10:03 pm 2 Comments

  I'm back.. and I'm sad... Hi everyone! It has been such a wonderful time being in melbourne over summer. I think it has definately made it even harder to leave, because of all the stronger friendships that have been built.

Oh well... i just have to live with it. But I hope I don't stay sad for too long, cos its so draining! Kinda ironic that my blog's called "ebullient jan". haha
