  I wanna be a dictionary

This week is full of one on ones with gal pals

Met mun on tues for lunch and a movie. We had a "korean" day out, now that I think about it. First, there was korean cosmetic shopping, then korean lunch at this restaurant in heeran ( don't go there!) and then caught a korean romantic comedy which was really cute =) haha... singapore is invaded with a korean obsession at the moment!

Met eftoni on wednesday for coffee!

She persuaded me to play scrabble... lol. She whipped out this little pocket sized scrabble set from her bag when i finally agreed.

I lost.... naturally... cos i'm not a brain and neither am I a dictionary

No points for guessing which word i was thinking of when i saw this on my set of tiles... haha

it rains like crazy here! It's almost as though God filled up" gigantore" sized bathtubs and decided to pour it out of the clouds just to see us get all wet for a joke. hehe... actually, kind of reminds me of how i used to drown ants in giant water droplets for fun. haha. ooopps

Driving in the rain was pretty scary. i could hardly see at all! but thank goodness i wasn't on the street , cos the brollie i would have to use probably had to be the size of a football field to keep me dry. if you were walking on the sidewalk when a car passed, you'd probably get knocked unconscious, only to find out later that you were hit by a mini tsunami.

Thurs was day out with mum. We hit the shops cos Isetan was having a private sale. I got my very first shopping item since getting back! A top from Zara... so happy =) Not bad considering I've been back for a month!
Ok.. sorry for more food photos... but... LOOK! The salmon roe is not only so big and juicy, but the pile... oh so impressive! Besides that, there was a squid/seaweed pile which was even taller. The sweet lady at the counter gave me a sample of squid.... it was MMmmmm...

Ok, here's my recommendation....

if you happen to be in Singapore, go to the isetan shaw supermarket and go to their chilled fresh dessert section ( it faces the checkout counters). Pick up this little gem for only $1.50! It's so much better than the cakes or soufflés you get in some of the bakeries/cafes. I'm gonna get addicted to them. It melts in your mouth like a cross between a rich chocolate mousse and cake. OH.... heavenly

On a random note... I slept with no ac for the first time since i've been back. Wanted to conserve power and at the same time prevent my skin from drying out. Terrible idea! Had such a sleepless and humid night. Unbearable. haha. Thank God for the invention of ac.

Comments:
