Food cures
Feels like I haven't blogged in awhile...
about a week back...
Julia brought me out for a food cure during a crappy feeling week. We went all the way to East Coast just to have dinner! Before dinner, she went for a run, while i just sat at the beach enjoying the waves gently rushing in. All i can say is, sitting by the beach alone, at night... when sad.... is quite depressing. haha. So don't do it.
We had sambal stingray (AWESOME) hokkien prawn mee (so so) barbecue chicken wings (yumm) and fragrant coconuts! Food cures always make you feel better after.
Saturday
Saturday was date day with dad. Mum was away in hongkong painting the shopping district red. We went out to KO at intercontinental. Love it there. A little wagyu here and there makes jan happy peppy. Thanks pops.
Monday
I made some lemon tart for a party Julia invited me to! It was a good tart, but weird party.
It was a party full of swedish people on exchange at local universities. Talk about blond hair blue eyed. It was everywhere! They're a bunch of pretty good looking people. There was this dude who seriously looked like he came straight out of a magazine. He had the innocent charm of a boy, but yet the look of a man. He was pretty hot to say the least. I'll have to show you a pic when i get it off someone.
Honestly, eftoni and I couldn't wait to just leave, cos it was kind of boring, and we were being social recluses. hahaa.... in ef's words "I've never felt so stuck ever". She wanted to make a quick getaway when we went back to the car to get her bag, and leave julia behind. haha. We made up an excuse and left as soon as the tart could be dished out to join another crowd at the club for some bowling, pool and bridge later.
Well... at least we left after learning one thing.... How to pronounciate IKEA the swedish way

Tuesday
Spiderman 3....in one word.... sucks. The plot of the movie was everywhere, without any focus. Too much talking and love lorn moments between Spidey and MJ, and Venom only appears late in the second half. It just felt like a really really draggy movie that stretched over more than 2 hours. I say, don't go unless its tight arse tues, you have the time to spare, and please don't drink too much water mid show, or you'll be busting for the loo. If it were a dvd, i might have just played it at 2 times the speed.
